Technical health, structure and content
A review starts with search access, server responses, URLs, redirects and duplicates. It also considers structure, headings and content that addresses visitor needs. Automated tools reveal signals, but their findings need human review.
What the deliverable should contain
An important blocked page and a weak description on a minor image should not receive the same priority. Ask what to fix first, who can do it and how the fix will be verified.
- Describe issues with affected URLs.
- Assign critical, important or later priority.
- Recommend an action and verification method.
- Separate questions needing additional data.
What an audit cannot guarantee
An audit cannot promise a ranking or date of search inclusion. It explains the current situation and helps allocate effort. Analytics and Search Console access can broaden the review when agreed separately.
